Brambell’s brilliant, wordless, and decidedly hard-to-watch performance, some delightfully striking cinematography, and the stunning, impressionistic editing ensure that this final part of Davies’s semi autobiographical short film trilogy not only lives up to its predecessors, but also compliments and perhaps even surpasses them: yet another masterpiece.
