More running, jumping, and explosions; more formulaic, less intelligent, less insightful, less ballsy - This post-pandemic, post-apocalyptic television series certainly doesn’t compare favourably with Terry Nation’s series from the ‘70s, but taken on its own merits, as a light, episodic, undemanding sci-fi series, it just about manages to hold the attention.
