Allen’s talky, unconvincing thriller, an exploration of the consequences of a pair of brothers’ decision to murder a colleague of their uncle for monetary gain, is fatally hamstrung by the prolific film-maker's dialogue, which fits ill with his working class characters' mouths, and, not the least, by Farrell’s Australian/South African sounding efforts.
